Event Details

This Deep Work Day event is designed to create a medium-sized "deep work" experience within our HealthTech Hang community. We are inviting those who have sh*t to do -- refining a pitch / sales deck, drafting blogs or marketing content, making progress on a PRD or process doc, getting into engineering flow, reviewing medical literature, brainstorming with other Attendees, or anything else! You can take calls as well, but you will be working in a bustling community space.

To maintain a curated and focused experience, attendance is limited. Apply by Monday, April 8 at 11:59pm PT by selecting the ticket and completing the application that appears. You are required to provide credit card information for a $1 verification charge, which will be immediately reversed. Confirmed Guests agree to be auto-charged the full event fee, including processing fees.

After applying, you will receive a unique referral link on your confirmation page and via email. Share this link with individuals who are awesome. If both you (the referrer) and your referral are confirmed to attend, each of you will receive a $25 refund on the event fee (up to the entire ticket value)!

Why was I invited to this event?
You were invited directly by Harry, a cohost, or someone else in the HealthTech Hang community because you seemed to be a good fit.

What are the selection criteria for attendees?
The goal is to curate a group of hard workers building interesting things. So please provide relevant details in your application!

What does the event include?
It includes snacks, coffee, and other beverages as well as lunch. Lunch will include vegetarian options and will attempt to address all strict dietary restrictions.

What is the double-sided referral program?
After you apply, you will be provided a referral link that you can use to send to a friend who would be a great fit. IF both of you are accepted, THEN both of you each get a $25 refund (up to the ticket value). You can refer as many people as you want!

Can I expense this?
You should check your company's expense policy, but this seems to fit any coworking stipend that you may have! Categorize this as if you were going to a WeWork, but MUCH better.

What happens if I am not selected to attend?
Don’t worry! There will be many more Deep Work Days. Plus, HealthTech Hang hosts other events such as Happy Hours, Dine & Develops, Day / Evening Conferences, and more.

What is the dress code?
Casual / business casual... whatever you would wear to WeWork

What is the format of the day?
Arrive starting at 9:30am. Icebreaker at 10:00am. Fireside chat and lunch at 12:30pm. Leave no later than 5:30pm. Besides that, work hard and mingle!

What measures are being taken for health and safety?
Please don’t attend with potential COVID symptoms; and feel free to wear a mask if you would feel more comfortable around others! This is an inclusive and safe community; any other behavior will lead to an immediate ban and relevant repercussions.

What’s the cancellation policy?
Your ticket is non-refundable and non-transferable. Also, there are NO plus 1's. Please note that skipping is highly frowned upon since much time is spent curating the DeepWork Day around each individual Attendee.

What if I’m a perfect fit to attend; but situationally, I can’t afford it?
These events are meant to be selective with significant time, attention, and financial “buy-in”. Plus, they are meant to sustainably compensate the host for the effort and value created. If this event is too far out of reach, please message [email protected] for other potential arrangements.
